KVKK Notice

This notice has been prepared under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") by Folkz Studio, as data controller, for the iyisi app (the "Platform") that it operates.

1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data processed through our Platform is Folkz Studio, the operator of the iyisi app (fol.kz/iyisi). For contact and requests you can write to [email protected].

2. Personal data processed

The following personal data may be processed while you use our Platform:

  • Identity data: first name, last name
  • Contact data: mobile phone number, email address
  • Location data: district/province of the service requested or offered, professionals' service areas and moving routes
  • Transaction data: listing contents, offer details, agreement details, messaging records
  • Visual data: profile and portfolio photos, certificate/document images uploaded by professionals
  • Device data: notification token, operating system, crash reports
  • Financial data: agreed price (no payment is made in the app; it is kept for information only) and professional subscription status (card details are not processed)

3. Purposes of processing

  • Creating memberships and managing accounts
  • Providing the intermediary service between customer and professional
  • Enabling communication between the parties
  • Ensuring platform security and preventing fraud
  • Measuring and improving service quality
  • Fulfilling legal obligations
  • Creating evidence in case of disputes

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds:

  • Establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c): providing membership and the intermediary service
  • Legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç): obligations arising from tax and commercial law
  • Legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f): platform security, combating fraud
  • Explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1): for marketing communications that require consent

5. Transfer of data

Your personal data is transferred to:

  • Google LLC (Firebase), for authentication, SMS verification, database, storage, server functions, notification and crash reporting services,
  • Apple Inc., for app distribution, in-app purchases and push notification services,
  • RevenueCat Inc., for managing professional subscriptions (subscription status and purchase identifier),
  • the person you reach an agreement with, only your phone number and only after both parties have confirmed the agreement,
  • authorized public bodies and institutions, within the scope of legal obligations.

Transfers to service providers abroad are made with appropriate safeguards under KVKK Art. 9. Your data is not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Retention periods

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and afterwards within legal retention obligations. If you delete your account, your data is anonymized or deleted within 30 days unless there is a legal requirement.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed
  • request information if it has been processed
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
  • know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad
  • request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
  • request deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7
  • object to a result against you arising from automated processing
  • request compensation for damages if it was processed unlawfully
