Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CamperBase. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

CamperBase is an outdoor travel and camping platform that provides location information, community features, and trip planning tools.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use CamperBase.

User Conduct

You agree to use CamperBase responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws. You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or harmful location information.
  • Upload offensive, illegal, or copyrighted content.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other community members.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • Submit spam or automated content.

Violation of these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.

Content and Intellectual Property

By posting content on CamperBase, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

You are responsible for the accuracy of location information you submit. CamperBase reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove content that violates our guidelines or applicable laws.

Subscriptions

CamperBase offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.
  • Premium features are accessible only during an active subscription period.

Disclaimer

CamperBase provides location information contributed by users and various sources. This information is provided 'as is' and may not always be accurate or up to date.

  • Always verify camping locations and regulations independently.
  • CamperBase is not responsible for conditions at camping locations.
  • Follow local laws and regulations regarding overnight stays.
  • Respect private property and protected areas.
  • Use your own judgment regarding safety.

CamperBase also lets users list items for sale or rent to other users ("Listings"). CamperBase is only a listing board for these — it is not a party to, does not guarantee, and is not responsible for any transaction between buyer and seller.

  • CamperBase does not verify listings, sellers, buyers, or the condition of items.
  • CamperBase does not process payments and is not involved in the exchange of money or goods.
  • Meet in person when possible, inspect an item before paying, and use your own judgment.
  • Report a suspicious or fraudulent listing using the "Report" option on that listing.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of CamperBase after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
